From the depths of my imagination, to old fashion ink and paper, this hypnotic skull can control it's victims from one stare of it's spellbinding eyes.
I wanted to create the illusion of a light source emerging from the skull's eyes. This would also be the focal point in the illustration, giving off a hypnotic effect.
The original drawing was hand drawn with ink, then converted into digital form to keep the illustration style. I used vibrant colors, textures, and different line strokes to complement each part of the drawing and pop it off the page.
