A quick rendition of of a Japanese Koi. Something sketchy is a style I use when drawing quickly. I first sketch my subject, then ink the drawing as quickly as possible, without thinking of making mistakes or taking to much time to see where the next line will be. This method is something I like to do to warm up before a long or very detailed technical drawing.
This style gives me the freedom to capture the emotion and movement of the ink in a none structured manor. It’s also a good way to produce my own style of art. After the drawing, I make it digital and give it life by applying color. Take a look at my Zombie Koi and enjoy.
